NaviGenie™ client supports hardware accelerated 3D graphics to give better user experience - higher frame rates, smoothed lines and enhanced visual effects.
Less power
Using the graphic accelerator chip (GPU) also saves power as it is more efficient to calculate a frame than on the generic embedded CPU. The SDK also provides methods to dynamically change the frame rate, to save even more power when the application is idle or running in non-interactive mode.
Less bandwidth and space
NaviGenie also supports efficient texture compression technologies - which can be utilized by most GPUs - to decrease the size of texture data downloaded to the handset.
